Founded in 1982 in Boulogne-sur-Mer by Jacques Dutertre and Freddy Paque, Freshpack was born out of a shared passion for seafood, culinary innovation and the desire to pass on family expertise. From the very beginning, the company chose to build its growth on the quality, traceability and sustainability of its supply chains, forging relationships of trust with its employees, suppliers and customers.

Specialising in frozen seafood and exotic products, Freshpack now offers a wide range of creative and convenient frozen meals: snacks, finger food, skewers, ready meals, soups and desserts. 1982

The birth of a passion

Freshpack was founded by Jacques Dutertre and Freddy Paque to import frozen shrimps and seafood, with a strong commitment to quality and food safety.

1992

Culinary innovation

Launch of ready-to-eat meals imported from Thailand, reflecting a spirit of innovation and openness to new cultures.

Investment in Madagascar

With the acquisition of a trawler and the construction of a processing plant, Freshpack is strengthening its traceability and its commitment to sustainable supply chains.

Growth in Madagascar

Take over 100% of Madagascar including 8 trawlers & 1 factory
